Construction on Mountain Lodge is proceeding well and is even a bit ahead of schedule. The second floor walls have been going up which give a great idea of just how bit it will be. These are exciting days.
Steve Archibald, our General Director at Medeba and our Project Manager for Mountain Lodge has built portable change stations for gear needed to partake in a tour of the project. Each wagon carries six pairs of steel-toe boots of various sizes and 4 adjustable hard hats. You simply chose the size of boots and sit down on the cart to put them on.
Tour are being offered at the beginning and end of every summer camp session this year which will be each Saturday from 10:00 – Noon and each Sunday from 3:00 – 5:00. In addition, our annual Open House will be providing tours from 11:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. Why not make a day of it and come for our free BBQ lunch and an opportunity to participate in a number of activities. This year Stu and Jackie Wilson, our founders, plan to join us once again.
