Basement Walls Ready to Pour

Mountain Lodge begins to take shape

The past several weeks have seen Mountain Lodge begin to take shape. Now you can clearly see the outline of the new foundation compared to the old Lodge. We are using a great construction system called ICF (Insulated Concrete Forms) where the walls are build out of foam with a hallow core that contains rebar. The concrete is poured into the forms leaving it ready for the next layers to be put on the outside and the inside.

Lord willing we hope we can be pouring the concrete walls by the end of the week.
